100 CLUB!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to Dawson, Wilson, Abbie, Daisy, Jacob & Grayson for counting to 100!!!! Welcome to the 100 Club!!!!! HOORAY! YEA!!! GREAT JOB!!! I AM SOOOO PROUD!!!
Week of 23-27
Thanks so much to those of you who sent desserts or $5.00 for the annual deer hunt! Thanks also to everyone who sent cans for the SGA food drive! Our class collected 22! I will let you know as soon as I know, how many cans the school collected & if we topped last year's count of 2,700!
Next week's unit will be animals of the Artic region. If you have any books or movies about Winter or the Artic, please share them. Remember Friday is always Show & Tell day. Please do not send toys! Our letter next week is Jj. Please review identifying the letter & making its sound. Also, practice the blend ladder-ja, je, ji, jo & ju. Make sure you go over papers in the Friday folder with your child. If letter strokes are continuing to be wrong, especially on names, extra practice is needed at home. Practice makes perfect! Please have your child read the handwriting/morning sentence to you. These are easy to read sentences we work on at school. Most are recognizing numbers 1-10, so we have moved on to 11-20. Next week we will be writing 13. We are continuing to work on counting by 1's to 100. When your child does this, he/she will join the 100 club!!!! COUNT, COUNT, COUNT!!!!
Have a FABULOUS weekend!!!!
